TASTE OF TUSCANY
A captivating journey into the authentic flavors of Tuscan cuisine, where each dish tells a story of tradition and passion. This class will guide you through the preparation of a complete traditional Tuscan menu, in an experience that engages all your senses.
Your culinary journey begins with the preparation of traditional Tuscan appetizers: you'll learn the art of creating crostini and bruschetta using fresh produce from our garden, following nature's seasonal rhythms. Each ingredient is carefully selected to ensure the highest quality and authenticity of flavors.
The heart of the class is dedicated to handmade fresh pasta, a symbol of Tuscan culinary tradition. You'll discover all the secrets to creating the perfect dough, from selecting the right flour to the proper kneading technique, culminating in crafting one of our traditional pasta shapes. The pasta will then be paired with a sauce prepared according to traditional Tuscan recipes, using seasonal local ingredients.
The class concludes with the preparation of a typical Tuscan dessert, where we'll reveal the little secrets passed down through generations to achieve perfect results.
Each preparation will be accompanied by anecdotes and stories about Tuscan food culture, in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere with views over the Chianti Classico hills.

PIZZA & GELATO
A unique experience combining two icons of Italian cuisine: homemade pizza and artisanal gelato. A hands-on, engaging class where you'll discover the secrets of these beloved Italian classics, in a relaxed atmosphere overlooking the Chianti hills.
The class begins with pizza-making from scratch: you'll discover the secrets of the perfect dough, from selecting the right flours to proper fermentation. You'll learn the technique for hand-stretching your pizza and how to top it using seasonal ingredients and fresh produce from our garden. We'll guide you through the baking process to achieve a pizza that's perfectly crispy outside and soft inside.
The second part of the class is dedicated to crafting artisanal gelato: we'll reveal the techniques for creating natural, creamy gelato. Together, we'll make two different flavors using fresh, seasonal ingredients, discovering how the quality of raw materials is essential for excellent results.
This journey combines tradition and creativity, where each participant will have the opportunity to get their hands dirty and experience firsthand these iconic Italian preparations.

FRESH PASTA
An immersive course dedicated to the art of handmade pasta, where tradition and craftsmanship combine to create three different types of fresh pasta. An authentic experience in the heart of Tuscan culinary tradition, where you'll learn all the secrets passed down through generations.
The course will guide you through the preparation of three classic types of fresh pasta: delicate and thin tagliatelle, traditional hand-rolled Tuscan pici, and refined ravioli with their filling. You'll discover the differences between various doughs, the specific techniques for each pasta shape, and the little tricks that make all the difference for perfect results.
From selecting the right flours to achieving the perfect dough consistency, from rolling out the pasta sheet to mastering ravioli-sealing techniques, each step will be explained in detail. Your creations will then be paired with traditional sauces prepared using fresh, seasonal local ingredients.
Throughout the class, we'll share stories and anecdotes about fresh pasta culture in Tuscany, in a convivial and relaxed atmosphere overlooking the Chianti Classico hills.

Our family-friendly cooking classes in Chianti are perfect for guests of all ages. We tailor each hands-on experience to engage children and make traditional Italian cooking fun and accessible for the whole family. Please let us know your children's ages when booking so we can customize your private cooking class accordingly.

Can you adapt recipes for specific dietary requirements?
We are happy to adapt our menus for specific dietary requirements. We offer vegetarian versions of all our cooking classes.
Regarding gluten-free requests, although we can offer gluten-free options and alternatives, we cannot guarantee the total absence of cross-contamination since traditional flours for pasta are regularly used in our kitchen.
Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or preferences at the time of booking.

We offer exclusively private experiences to ensure maximum attention for you and your guests. You will have the kitchen and the chef's attention dedicated only to your group, for a truly personalized experience.

How to reach our cooking school
Our farmhouse is located in a prime position in Chianti, easily accessible from Florence, Siena and the main villages in the area. We are 30 minutes from Florence and 40 minutes from Siena. Upon booking, we will provide you with detailed directions to reach us.
